This brand-new desert layout from Tom Weiskopf and Phil Smith takes full advantage of the dramatic red rock landscape that makes southern Utah so visually stunning. The routing weaves through natural washes and around towering sandstone formations, creating a true desert golf experience that feels more authentic than many of the overly manicured resort courses you'll find elsewhere in the region. Weiskopf's signature style of working with the natural terrain rather than against it is evident throughout, with holes that follow the contours of the land and incorporate the existing desert vegetation. What sets this course apart is how successfully it captures the essence of desert golf without the artificial feel that plagues so many newer developments. The conditioning is still finding its legs given the recent opening, but the bones are excellent and the setting is absolutely spectacular. At this early stage, you're getting access to a premium desert experience that will likely become much more expensive and difficult to book as word spreads about the quality of the design and the jaw-dropping scenery.
